the mothers’ union
St. James, Badsey has a Mothers’ Union branch that meet each month on the second Tuesday, in Badsey church at 2.30pm.
We have twenty four members, and our meetings are a time of prayer and fellowship, usually with an invited speaker.
We have a “knit and nat” group, making items for local Care Homes, the prem. baby unit at Worcester Hospital, and jumpers for boys at a school in Bethlehem.
Most members are also involved with various local initiatives in the community, and in supporting church activities and Services. We also enjoy social events and outings together, mostly in the summer months.
Visitors are welcome at our meetings, and of course prospective new members.
Our annual programme is displayed on the Mothers’ Union notice board in Badsey church.
