Our Weekly Worship
All of our churches follow a regular pattern of Sunday worship made up of a variety of different services.
Each church has a Eucharist service every other Sunday on rotation. There are Family Services and a new Morning Praise service on alternate Sundays.
Please see our homepage for more information on our current services.
Also known as Holy Communion or the Mass, the Eucharist service forms the heart of our Christian fellowship, where we gather around the Lord’s Table to celebrate the mystery of redemption in Christ’s sacrifice and rising from the dead.
Our churches use the Common Worship services in modern language, with two churches (Cleeve Prior and North & Middle Littleton) using a traditional language service (CW Prayer C)
On special occasions, incense is used as part of our worship.
For those who prefer something a little more informal and accessible to young children we have a variety of family services. These follow a pattern of Bible story, songs, prayers and activities. At Offenham this is done in a Café Church style on Third Sundays at 11:00am.
This new service follows a modern take on a morning prayer service, the perfect start to the day! It follows the same format as our Family services but with more traditional hymns and prayers.
This is a new service at Offenham at the slightly later time of 11:00am. More informal in character, this service is ideal for children and young families, with songs, stories and activities all enjoyed with a cup of coffee and a relaxed atmosphere.
